Reissued in collaboration with Smeg, this limited edition of the Clicquot Fridge is now recyclable and plastic-free. The molded cellulose insert produced from sugarcane waste can be removed for recycling and the tin coffret kept and repurposed. The coffret conserves the Champagne at tasting temperature for two hours.

Technical points: The iconic curves of the upper part of Smeg refrigerators were reproduced on the coffret’s base and lid, while the bottom has sharp angles. The door is double-walled for rigidity and to hide the embossing on the facing; the door was created in one piece, with deep embossing and keeping the natural color of the tin making the handles. A silver debossed line separates the two “doors” of the fridge. The coffret and insert can be separated and recycled. A paper bag protects the product, which is delivered directly to the customer in the final boxes (boxes reused during copacking).
