The glass features a soft-touch second skin said to make products anti-slip. A very thin layer of polymer was sprayed onto the surface of the glass, followed by either a clear or transparent varnish that allows the bottle to be twice as solid as traditional glass.

What’s innovative: The protective layer strengthens the mechanical resistance of the glass without altering its properties.

What’s green: Despite the film, the bottles are recyclable: the hydro-based material contains neither solvants nor PVC.
