This solid oak coffret with invisible hinges and magnetic closure opens to reveal four compartments. A water-based black tint is applied to the top of the coffret only — a complex operation — while laser-engraved inscriptions feature on the facing and the inside and an inscription in hot-stamped silver. The numbered coffrets feature original, hand-drawn artwork in chalk and oils by French artist Philippe Baudelocque. Design by Le Secret Magnifique.

What’s green: Local production and supply; the use of PEFC certified French oak and 100% biomass-based lacquer. Marotte’s production process is energy self-sufficient thanks to its biomass boiler powered by production offcuts.
