What’s green: The tube represents a 45% reduction in plastic use compared to a classic tube, is recyclable and is said to be respectful of the marine environment. 

What the jury said: “An encouraging approach for the future. However, we want to note that the paperboard is only on the skirt of the tube and not in its entirety. Upstream, the pack is virtuous as it uses less plastic on the skirt, but downstream, it is less so because it is not (yet) recyclable. However, we applaud this as a good first step.”
